What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Architect position at urban?
urban has partnered with one of the US' leading architecture studios, 400-strong across the country, who is looking for a Senior Architect to take a leading role in their young and growing New York office.
This studio work across various sectors from concept through to completion, cultural, civic, healthcare, education, and institutional projects. Generally medium and large scale, they have a varied and good quality portfolio of US work.
This role will be positioned just under their New York studio Director, and will offer unparalleled room for growth into a leading role as the studio expands. Having already won a major New York based cultural civic project, still in it's early stages, this a unique role to join an established studio's growing office to work on a wonderful, Manhattan based project.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 10-12 years' experience, have worked across the full project cycle, be willing to get stuck into production from a senior position, and be totally Revit fluent. Ideally you will have worked on institutional, mixed-use or cultural projects, though the scale is more important than the sector - medium or large, good quality projects.
