Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Crew

This seasonal part time or full time position has some flexibility in both hours and scheduling depending on what the right candidate is looking for. A typical work day is 6:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. working on the golf course completing several different tasks including mowing all playing surfaces, raking bunkers and string trimming. Help be apart of the team that reopens the new 10 million dollar Drew Rogers Golf Course. Target date to open is Memorial Day 2025 For students and candidates looking for part time work- we are flexible with hours and work times, but a minimum of 10 hours a week is required.

Requirements

The minimum requirements for a successful candidate include (but are not limited to)

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to work one weekend shift from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M on Saturday or Sunday on most weekends
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and background check

Urbana Country Club is currently in final preparation to get the golf course ready to open. This project will include all new greens, tees and fairways, new bunkers with a premium sand and liner, and a 2.7 million dollar irrigation system
