Senior Data Architect / Data Engineer
Location: NY/NJ or Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Industry Experience:
- Strong Financial Services domain experience
- Experience in Capital Markets, Securities, Asset Management, or Broker-Dealer
- Must have worked with top-tier financial services firms
- Expertise in Risk Reporting, Data Models, and Data Structures (Architect Level)
- Experience Level: 8-12 years (Not super senior)
Open Roles & Locations:
- 1 Data Architect role New York / New Jersey
- 2 Data Architect roles Lake Mary, Florida
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the data and enterprise architecture for the corporate MDM data platform
- Manage the corporate data architecture reference model for the finance industry taxonomy (FIBO)
- Develop conceptual data models that ensure scalability and alignment with business requirements
- Define corporate data domains and associated taxonomies
- Serve as an SME on data architecture, product rationalization, and catalog integration
- Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, developers, and engineers to provide feedback and guidance on platform enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature development
- Balance technical requirements with practical, business-oriented solutions
Technical Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Securities, Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Broker-Dealer data
- Expertise in data platforms (Relational, NoSQL, and Distributed Data Stores)
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Proficiency in Big Data technology, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data workflows
- Skilled in Data Modeling, Data Integration, and Data Visualization tools
- Strong understanding of Data Governance & Data Quality best practices
