Project:
This is on the Fixed Annuities Product Team. This team is working on ALIP and responsible for all Fixed Annuities Products lines. They are constantly dealing with net new implementations, migrations and modifications of current Products across ALIP and they have a team of around 30 people supporting this.
The team is made up of the Product/Business Configurators, ATA Dev/Client Dev, Product owner and this BA.
They practice 2 week Agile sprints
Currently using Polarian as their
User Story/BackLog tool, moving to JIRA
Looking for:
A senior driver style Business Analyst who can help support Business and IT working with internal and vendor teams. This person will be doing Requirements gathering, technical requirement documents, creating User Stories, backlog grooming and working with Dev/QA.

Sr. Business Analyst
The Role
Liaison with key Business Stakeholders and IT in the analysis and delivery of enhancements, projects and products. Executes, with advanced ability, assessing and documenting business risks, creating business cases, identifying impacted stakeholders, developing communication plans, creating As Is/To Be process flows, facilitating and documenting gap analysis, and facilitating JAR sessions. Responsible, with expert ability, of multiple business requirement elicitation methods, assessing business impacts, writing clear, concise, and accurate business requirements, planning/coordination/execution of User Acceptance Testing, production validation, training/SOP support, and project transition planning.
Description
- Lead the building business cases outlining scope and identifying stakeholders; facilitates and documents As Is, To Be and Gaps Analysis of Business processes.
- Elicit, analyze and document clear, concise, detailed business requirements and ensures technical requirements & design meet and support the business needs.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the solution delivered meets the business needs.
- Provides oversight for business readiness plans, including communication, training and production validation.
Experience using Polarion and Outlook is a plus.
Experience working on or writing requirements for the Client Life Insurance Platform is preferred.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be self-driven, able to identify key priorities and run with them. Must be able to, with limited direction, anticipate teams needs and get user stories pre-drafted prior to refinement sessions. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, vocal when not understanding topics, and will take the initiative to create relationships and identify critical resources to ensure success.
