Urbn Leaf is seeking an experienced and skilled Cannabis Facility Security Officer to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of our cannabis facilities and personnel.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in security, law enforcement, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. They must possess knowledge of laws and regulations relating to detention, arrest, and restraints. A current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Officer License issued by the State of California is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform random searches to ensure that property removal of property is conducted per company protocols.
- Activate and/or respond to alarms or emergency events; notify the appropriate law enforcement or emergency department.
- Investigate and prepare detailed and accurate incident reports for upper management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-graduate degree from a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in law enforcement or adult corrections or a POST Basic Certificate.
- Valid drivers license and insurable.
