What are the responsibilities and job description for the URBN Site Lead position at URBN?
Role Summary
URBN is hiring a Site Lead who will be responsible for providing day-to-day operations support within the Technology team for onsite distribution center services. The focus will be on the Infrastructure and business processes that allow the DC and it’s team members to be successful.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitoring Technology infrastructure including PC desktops, printers, Zebra mobile android devices and business applications focused in the URBN distribution center.
- Respond to events surrounding day-to-day operations for error conditions raised across all technologies and follow standard procedures.
- Escalate events needing additional technical resources as per standard procedures.
- Provide after-hours on-call support.
Role Qualifications
- Basic understanding of computer concepts for Windows and Linux systems
- Basic understanding of how computers connect on a local area network (LAN).
- Someone who can be an excellent team player who wants to learn from an extremely talented group of Technology members.
- Great communicator
- Detail oriented and can follow precise procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork: willingness and ability to get help from team members when required, and the good judgment to know when to seek help from others.
