Education
15 years of technical experience, and 2 NFPA or equivalent certifications
Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
????Gaseous fire suppression systems: Carbon dioxide (CO2) systems Clean agent systems (e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230) Inert gas systems (e.g., Inergen, Argonite) Oxygen reduction (hypoxic) systems Passive fire protection systems: Fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings NQA-1 Auditor and ISO Auditor certifications. Proficiency in fire code enforcement inspections Familiarity with different types of fire seals, including but not limited to: Intumescent seals Elastomeric seals Mechanical seals Foam seals Mortar-based seals Silicone-based seals Composite sheet seals Putty-based seals Procedure writing and editing skills Ability to support and provide guidance for maintenance planning and execution across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, pump systems) Job Details Full-time position within Engineering Department ???????Works under direct supervision Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information Supports export control documentation requirements Work Location: Eunice, NM Work Schedule: Professional work schedule/ with minimal night/ weekend support. Travel Required: 10% of the time or less as required Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and an L or Q level security clearance Emergency Response Requirements: Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duty will be required; including being on-call (24/7) during your designated team duty week. Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of Responsible for the protection of confidential and proprietary information received during employment, including keeping information in strict confidence, exercising a reasonable degree of care to prevent disclosure to others, not disclosing or divulging either directly or indirectly information to others, and not using the information commercially or for any other purpose other than the performance of their duties for Urenco. - Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering and 4 or more years as Fire Protection Engineer.
- Engineering degree and 6 or more years as Fire Protection Engineer or Fire Protection related duties.
