Dental Nursing Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong background in dental assisting, familiarity with various dental procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
• Take and record patient vital signs as needed.
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
• Provide support in various specialties including General Dentistry, Endodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry.
• Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when required.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinic.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical coding is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various dental specialties including Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry will be beneficial.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.68 - $22.31 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
