Urick Concessions & Catering has almost 25 years of experience providing food service for special events at large venues throughout Indianapolis. We are the exclusive Caterer at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center. Our professional team ensures high-quality service for all occasions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Relations and Event Planning
- Communicate with clients throughout the event planning process.
- Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and client proposals.
- Complete the Event Worksheet detailing all aspects of the event.
- Assist with event planning, theme, and décor.
- Assist with menu planning and presentation.
- Create and manage event timelines.
Event Execution and Supervision
- Coordinate and oversee the event setup.
- Supervise Front of House (FOH) staff for events.
- Ensure proper service to clients during events.
- Supervise breakdown of events.
Team Management and Training
- Assist in recruiting and hiring catering staff.
- Train catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in catering or event management roles helpful but not required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
