Director of Foodservice

URM Stores, Inc. is looking for our next Director of Foodservice’s to join our ever-growing team. Reporting to the Vice President of Procurement & Profit Centers, the Director of Foodservice will manage sales/expense budgets to achieve projections and goals for the Foodservice division. This position also monitors and adjusts sales and gross margins to meet established goals and will direct and assist Outside Sales staff and Managers with account solicitation and development.

As a member of the URM Foodservice Division, each team member must represent the company in a professional manner. It’s essential to this department to build long and mutually beneficial relationships with our customers and vendors by providing excellent customer service and assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage to success annual sales, margin, expense, and capital budgets for the Foodservice Division.
• Manage all "back end/sheltered" income from UniPro and annual contractual “Local” vendor programs.
• Direct and assist sales and management to gain both incremental and organic sales growth.
• Direct all marketing efforts to grow sales while developing positive vendor and manufacturer relationships.
• Work with Operations to maintain high customer service levels while controlling expenses.
• This position supervises seven full-time employees that is made up managers and supervisors.
• This position oversees the day-to-day activities, including leading team meetings, providing guidance, and mentoring.
• Travel is minimal – Approx. 15-20 nights annually. (All Travel Expenses Covered).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or other related field or equivalent of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of successful foodservice management experience.
• High energy level, with the ability and desire to be part of a proactive, solution-oriented, customer-focused leadership team.
• Developed interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with all parties involved with our business.
• Positive attitude; willingness and ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Must have High-level of integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic with a keen sense of urgency and results oriented approach.

Salary range is $110,000 - $115,000 annually DOE., plus so much more!
