Job Title: APP (PA/NP) – Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Reports to: Director of APP

Job Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Positions Supervised: None

Position Summary: Our clinics span to multiple locations in the Greater St. Louis Area. Precise location to be determined. Provides general medical care and treatment to patients in medical facility such as clinic, health center, or public health agency, under direction of Physician, by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions: To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. · Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.

· Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.

· Oversee the triage process and works as a resource for support staff.

· Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.

· Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.

· Resource for medical secretaries for urgent patient questions when MD not available.

· Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Physician.

· Hospital rounds on post-op patients and hospital consults where there may not be a MD present.

· Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, pain management, or related therapeutic procedures.

· Peer-to-peer for insurance denials for radiology

· Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

· Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

Education and Experience:

· Certified Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner, Licensed in Missouri and or Illinois. 1 year experience necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
