Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee budgeting processes and financial management to ensure the clinic operates within its financial means.
- Implement and maintain practice management systems, including eClinicalWorks, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information and maintain accreditation.
- Develop policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care and office management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve critical care processes and enhance patient outcomes.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of practice management systems; experience with eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight in a medical environment.
- Understanding of medical care protocols and procedures.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to the healthcare industry.
- In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations.
