Our client is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead a new hospice office in Sugar Land. This location is part of a larger, well-established hospice network that knows how to scale and grow new markets. They need a strong leader to execute their vision and drive clinical excellence.
What You’ll Do

Oversee daily clinical operations for a smaller but growing hospice office.

Start hands-on in the field until staffing grows to match patient needs.

Hire, train, and develop a high-performing hospice team.

Ensure compliance with state and federal hospice regulations.

Maintain quality care standards—quarterly performance bonuses are available based on key metrics.

Work closely with leadership to drive census growth and expand community outreach.
What You Need

RN license in Texas (required).

Hospice experience preferred but not required—strong leaders will be supported with training.

Prior DON, ADON, or leadership experience in hospice, skilled nursing, ER, or ICU settings is a strong advantage.

Ability to lead in a startup environment, balancing fieldwork with leadership responsibilities.
