VP of Finance – Remote
Lead Financial Strategy for a High-Growth PE-Backed Healthcare Organization
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned financial leader with direct experience in Private Equity-backed healthcare organizations, specifically Management Services Organizations (MSOs), Dental Support Organizations (DSOs), Physician Practice Management (PPM) groups, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
As remote VP of Finance, you will work closely with the CEO and private equity partners to scale financial operations, drive profitability, and support M&A activity across multiple locations. This role is instrumental in leading financial integration for acquisitions across the South and Southeast. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear path to CFO.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee financial operations for a multi-site healthcare group, ensuring strong financial controls and strategic decision-making.
- Lead financial integration for new acquisitions, partnering with the executive team to ensure smooth transitions.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency.
- Optimize revenue cycle management (RCM) and payer reimbursement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and investors, translating financial data into actionable business insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Expertise: 8 years in healthcare finance within a PE-backed MSO, DSO, PPM, or ASC environment.
- M&A Integration Experience: Strong background in financial due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and scaling finance operations across multi-site healthcare organizations.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of healthcare accounting, revenue cycle management (RCM), payer contracts, and reimbursement models. CPA preferred.
- Systems & ERP: Strong experience with financial and practice management software, such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to support executive decision-making and drive financial strategy.
- Travel Requirement: This is a remote role, but travel will be required for a couple of days every other month for leadership meetings and site visits.
Compensation & Career Growth
- Compensation: $155K - $170K base salary performance-based bonus
