What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Maintenance Manager position at URS Properties?
*Must be able to travel Monday-Friday to multiple states*
This Maintenance Technician assists the Regional Facilities Director in carrying out the service processes of all our properties to ensure our community members have a well-maintained apartment home.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues relating to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
- Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklist.
- Perform duties necessary to restore apartments to “market ready” status in a timely manner and in accordance with the Company’s Apartment Make Ready Policy
- Assist and supervise sub-contractors while they are on the property.
- Maintain service shop so that it is safe, clean, and well organized, with adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience
- HVAC, EPA, CPO certifications preferred
- Top notch customer service skills and basic computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Rotating after-hours on-call availability, rotating weekends
- Valid Driver’s License
