What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Management/Maintenance position at URSA Management?
We are looking for a person that has general knowledge of large building maintenance as well as maintaining relationships with contractors and tenants. Working with the specific and intricate details of multiple units in multiple buildings would be part of daily operations. You must also possess a knowledge of property management laws and regulations. In addition to the above a no nonsense, common sense approach is needed.
Oversight of apartment complexes is required. Reliable transportation is, therefore, a must.
Ability to think ahead, plan and schedule as well as produce appropriate follow up and documentation is an operational charge in this position . In addition, staying organized and communicative is not only a great quality but definitely is a requirement in this position. You will need to be able to perform tasks by pre-determined deadlines in detail.
Meeting with potential clients and subcontractors. In addition, to working onsite and completing manual duties will all be a part of this position. Really, what is happening, is you are overseeing punchlist items for rehab of properties to the point of getting them move-in ready for residential and commercial rentals. After which time, you would be a primary contact for maintenance and showings of apartments.
Snow removal and lawn maintenance, responsibility for the parking lots, buildings and overall condition will be a main concern in this position. Part of this includes one being a reliable, trustworthy and dependable human being.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management and tenant interactions.
- Oversee maintenance and property upkeep and resolve issues efficiently.
- Utilize property management software for reporting.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and managing landlord-tenant relationships effectively.
- Maintaining property condition and efficiently and swiftly address maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and experience in property management
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
- Excellent organizational and conflict management abilities
- Background in maintenance and property management
- Competence in data entry, filing, and customer relationship management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
