Our client, a Manufacturer and Installer of Retractable Tarp Systems for Flatbed Trailers in Gary Requires an Inside Sales Rep!
The company also operates a repair shop and a retail store for cargo equipment, tarps, and other truck and trailer accessories. It is a family-owned business that has been around since 1986.

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour
ABOUT THE JOB :
Provide customer service to customers and inbound callers for cargo equipment and related flatbed trucking supplies.
Back up the counter staff with equipment and supplies sales to walk-in customers.
Work closely with customers (via telephone, email / fax / text).
Respond to requests for orders, product information, estimates, and lead times, etc.
Take care of order entry, coordinate stock / non-stock purchasing, and manage the order process through delivery.
Make outbound calls to the existing customer base and cold-calling new opportunities.
Follow up on Quotes.
Filing invoices, packing slips, and work orders.
Solve challenges - find creative win-win solutions.
ABOUT YOU :
You're an exceptional 'people-person' with a strong business acumen.
Awesome customer service and support skills with a minimum of 1-2 years related
Experience.
Ideally, you're no stranger to the trucking industry mainly, the flatbed industry would be a significant asset.
Love to wear many hats and work with a sense of URGENCY.
Strong initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.
Reliable and punctual team player with a POSITIVE 'can-do' attitude. You can be counted on to get the job done on time and with attention to detail.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS :
Computer and technology competent.
Proficient with MS Office and systems software as required.
Experience using accounting software; specifically, Sage 50 would be a valued asset.
Excellent telephone manners.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Position is full-time, Monday through Friday.
