POSITION SUMMARY:
We’re seeking an organized and proactive Marketing Events Coordinator to help manage and execute high-impact events in the sports industry for one of our fast growing clients. This role involves overseeing event logistics, supporting product initiatives, and collaborating with professional players and their camps to ensure smooth operations and delivery of social media assets. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, can juggle multiple responsibilities, and communicates effectively with internal teams and external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Logistics Management: Coordinate logistics for a year-round event schedule, including major professional sport events and athletic camps. Ensure seamless transitions from one event to the next.
Partner Coordination: Work with current and former professional players to facilitate their camps, manage equipment, track student measurables, and oversee deliverables, including in-kind partnerships.
Communication & Social Media: Manage back-and-forth communications with agents and partners to deliver social assets. Support social media analysis and content coordination.
Project Support: Assist product managers in the player space, ensuring timely delivery of assets and handling any ad-hoc tasks that arise.
Administrative Tasks: Utilize Jira, Confluence, and Excel to track event progress, manage tasks, and stay organized.
Problem-Solving: Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure. Mistakes can be costly — we need someone who stays on top of every detail.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-4 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts.
Experience in sports events is highly preferred, but a fast learner with a strong work ethic can overcome the learning curve.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and external partners.
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Excel.
Social media knowledge is a plus.
Nice to Have:
Background or passion for sports, particularly football.
Experience managing partnerships or working with professional athletes.
Additional Information:
This role is primarily 100% remote, with no immediate travel requirements (subject to change based on the number of player camps).
Events run heavily from January to April, with additional camps happening between May and July.
