- We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This is an onsite role within a growing consumer electronics manufacturing company.

- You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and supporting accounting functions to ensure smooth business operations.

- Assist in reconciling:
- Bank statements.
- Credit card statements.
- General ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including:
- Journal entries.
- Accruals.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile:
- General ledger accounts.
- Subledger.
- Inventory records.
- Assist in cost accounting processes, including:
- Standard costing.
- Cost analysis.
- Inventory valuation.
- Assist in sales tax filings, reporting, and tax audit documentation.
- Work with the operations team to:
- Track and analyze costs.
- Identify variances.
- Support external audits with financial data and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting functions.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer electronics environment.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (experience with SAP B1 is a plus).
- Strong understanding of:
- GAAP, Financial reporting, and General ledger accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to:
- Multi-task, Work independently, and Thrive in a fast-paced business setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with:
- Inventory accounting.
- Cost analysis.
- Previous experience in:
- Manufacturing.
- Consumer electronics industry.
- Having or obtaining a CPA / CMA is a plus.
