Key responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting new and existing backflow prevention assembly installations to ensure compliance with Company and State of California Cross Connection Control requirements
- Performing cross connection control surveys of piping systems to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
- Working with customers and contractors to install, test, and repair backflow prevention assemblies
- Testing and maintaining the company's owned backflow preventers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid California Class C Driver's license
- California State Water Distribution Operator II certification
- Cross Connection Control Specialist certification
- Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A strong understanding of piping systems and water flow rates
