We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sale Cattle Crew Member to join our team at Leachman Cattle, part of the URUS Group. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for handling and caring for approximately 2500 bulls and several hundred females per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cattle using low-stress handling techniques.
- Assist with daily care and welfare of cattle, adhering to quality control measures.
- Maintain fences, feed bunks, water troughs, and facilities in clean and repaired state at all times.
- Use Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) methods to process arriving cattle, including verifying individual identification, administering vaccinations, and branding.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of cattle handling experience.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Display solid performance standards, be reliable, and dependable.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.
