Scope
Houlihan Lokey's Presentations Studio is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is centered on managing incoming presentation design and production requests, allocating resources effectively, translating client concepts into actionable projects, and overseeing project workflow and deliverable negotiations. The ideal candidate will excel in client communication, demonstrate the ability to accurately assess project priorities and scope, and possess a strong understanding of our product offerings to effectively negotiate deadlines and effectively allocate resources. This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
Responsibilities
As a Presentations Coordinator, you are:-
Responsible for distributing presentations projects to our global network of presentations resources and keeping a high-level overview of the project until completion
Able to grasp design best practices, stay informed on current trends, and be able to effectively communicate project scope with both clients and team members
Able to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with banking teams to understand, anticipate and manage their requirements and expectations
Delivering personalized, non-automated communication to clients, creating a unique experience for clients with each interaction (we call this our white-glove treatment)
Working with Supervisor to identify opportunities to enhance and conceptualize design projects, including presentations across various formats such as conceptual designs, drafts and final layouts, Video and photo editing, Data visualization, graphs, charts, typography, infographics Asset creation - illustrations, icons, etc.
Assigning tasks to designers and specialists based on skill sets, availability, and project requirements
Tracking and communicating project progress and adjust resource allocation as needed to meet deadlines
Facilitating clear and timely communication on project updates, revisions, and timelines
Gathering and relay feedback between clients and the design team, ensuring client expectations are met
Demonstrating a creative problem-solving mindset: finding ways to deliver a white-glove experience for the client rather than declining requests
Identifying and proactively addressing any potential risks to timelines or project success
Ensuring all deadlines are met and re-adjust deadlines appropriately if it seems a project may not be completed in time
Completing quick presentations jobs not limited to quick signature requests, charts, name cards, simple document formatting requests
Ensuring consistency across shifts: stay in communication with other PC’s on shifts to ensure consistency in messaging to callers
Basic Qualifications
A proven track record in creative project management within a design team
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; experience with video creation is a plus
Advanced level MS Office (primarily PowerPoint)
Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Keen attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret client briefs and identify key project needs, including interpreting complex ideas visually
Ability to work with a job ticketing system, work well under pressure and make quick sound decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both clients and team members
Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines
Creative problem-solving mindset to handle client requests and workflow adjustments efficiently
Strong aptitude to acclimatize and learn quickly
Experience working in financial services an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphics, Business or related field
2-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within a creative or design-focused team.

$28.85-$33.65Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
