The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.
You will work as part of an engineering team of 4 at a 4-building site with a total of 657,166 square foot Class A office buildings in Georgia each consisting of roughly 160,000 sqft. This position requires the Maintenance Technician to be on-site. Local market requirements may vary slightly.
Schedule : 9am-6pm Monday through Friday rotating on-call. Overtime is requested and required on an as needed basis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to : painting, pressure washing, cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs / ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance
- Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests
- Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks
- Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
- Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
- Comply with all safety procedures
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Other projects and tasks to be assigned
