- Relocation Project Management:
- Gather project/move requirements, develop scope of work, create project plans, cost estimates and schedules for project approval and execution.
- Conduct site surveys to evaluate existing facilities and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Communicate actively during meetings and other project related activities with a focus on delivering the project on-time, on budget and meeting the client’s expectations.
- Plan and execute moves, restacks, decommissions, furniture reconfigurations by developing move plans, move matrixes, and space plans.
- Manage all aspects of move project from initiation to completion; including budget, schedule, deliverables, and move vendors.
- Coordinate logistics, space planning and furniture procurement; and coordinate work with IT infrastructure/equipment installations teams.
- Ensure data accuracy within move management and CAFM systems.
- Conduct post-move evaluations to assess the success of the relocation and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage, process and report project financials: budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
- Project tracking and reporting.
- Manage work orders by coordinating and scheduling work with vendors.
- Conduct building audits including but not limited to furniture, artwork, ADA compliance.
Space Planning:
- Track, analyze and maintain space allocation data.
- Conduct building audits: occupancy, space data management.
- Create and maintain block plans for business occupancy allocations.
- Design test fits via AutoCAD
- Analyze data to create tactical space plans for projects.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years professional experience in corporate real estate, facilities planning, interior design and/or move management and project management.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, CAFM and work order systems.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level clients.
- Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction, systems furniture, or commercial real estate industry
- Familiarity with architectural drawings, ADA requirements, life safety codes, furniture, and space planning concepts
