Duties
- Responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Division at a large garrison.
- Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
- Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business program which meets the needs and interests of the military community.
- Develops and/or recommends methods, operations, and programs to ensure profitable business activities income.
- Must be able to work some nights/weekends as mission dictates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required
- Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulation
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation
Qualifications
Work experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Business Operations activities for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year.
Highly Qualified Criteria:
- Within the last three (3) years, demonstrated experience in leading, developing, and coordinating multiple NAF Business/Recreation programs at the branch/division level (Garrison/Region/HQ).
- Within the last three (3) years, proven expertise with contract management and/or performed Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) functions in support of revenue generating programs and services.
- Possess a professional membership/certification in a field of relevant expertise (e.g., Leisure and Hospitality, ServSafe, BPAA, PGA, ASE).
