Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our FAA Part 141 flight training operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving increased activity, improving efficiency, and ensuring student training goals are met. This position requires strong quantitative skills and analytical skills with an eye for detail. Help students reach their full potential, on-time and on-budget, through careful planning and daily execution of the schedule.
Duties
- Develop and implement processes to ensure student success and efficient utilization of company assets
- Continual assessment of demanded student training blocks compared to available supply
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Hit or exceed flight hour targets for each training location
- Supervise daily schedule/dispatch operations, creatively solving to maximize flight execution
- Communicate clearly and timely any constraints that may inhibit success to the Director of Maintenance and Chief Flight Instructor
- Work with client Relationship Manager to set customer expectations and improve customer satisfaction
Skills
- Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience with reporting systems, preferably Tableau
- Strong strategic planning capabilities to set long-term objectives.
- Aviation and flight training experience is preferred
- Proven experience in process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supervising teams
- Effective project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to manage resources efficiently
