The Outside Sales and Tradeshow Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining and nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic outreach and attending industry trade shows. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with up to 100% travel, as they will represent the company selling to different businesses and various tradeshows. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with our diverse customer base.
Job Summary:
- Sales Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities by researching and reaching out to potential clients, both in person and via phone/email.
- Tradeshow Sales (including Street Fairs & Pop Up Shops): Attend, promote, and sell at industry-specific trade shows, conventions, and street fairs across the country. Maximize visibility and drive sales during these events by networking with potential clients and showcasing our products.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by offering personalized service, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Client Support: Provide ongoing support to existing clients by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring the successful delivery of products.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to better position our offerings in the marketplace.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Regularly report sales activity and performance metrics, including sales pipeline updates, trade show outcomes, and revenue forecasts.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish: Must be able to communicate fluently in both languages, both written and spoken, to engage with a diverse client base.
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful outside sales experience, with a proven track record in sales or similar roles.
- Travel Requirements: This is a 100% travel position; the representative will be expected to travel frequently.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage and build rapport with clients, deliver compelling presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Self-Motivated & Results-Driven: Highly driven with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Must be able to manage travel schedules, client meetings, and trade show logistics efficiently.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse environments and adapting to changing priorities and client needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the beauty industry.
- Previous success in selling at trade shows or similar events.
