Concrete Finisher

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working on construction sites, specifically with concrete finishing and related tasks. This role involves ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

• Prepare and set up the work area for concrete pouring, including forming and leveling surfaces.
• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and edging.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation of concrete structures.
• Assist in the renovation of existing structures by applying stucco or other finishing materials as needed.
• Perform tasks related to concrete pumping and ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including frame carpentry and drywall installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role on construction sites.
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with stucco application and renovation processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to concrete finishing.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

• Concrete finishing: 3 years (Required)
• Concrete forming: 3 years (Required)
• OSHA: 3 years (Required)
• Forklift: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:
