Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team at USF in Jackson, TN. The Material Handler will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse setting and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Organize and maintain warehouse space
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Forklift certification is a plus
