US Farathane is seeking a Quality Inspector - 1st Shift. This position is responsible for supporting the Quality System, including auditing in-process product per instructions, completing associated documentation and assisting with other quality department tasks based on customer demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine and inspect materials and parts to discover defects, wear, and tear
- Ensure that products or parts conform to work orders, specifications, blueprints, and templates.
- Inspect materials and finished parts, determine if the product or part is in conformance with specifications, and adjust process or assembly equipment.
- Re-work parts per work instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments and complex text equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence, and to speak and present information effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to do simple math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to add positive and negative numbers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement instrument usage
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards
