This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We are seeking experienced PRN OR / PACU RN to join our team. This position is located at our Mount Kisco practice. The schedule is working as needed with weekend and holiday rotations.
How You'll Contribute :
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the OR / PACU RN is responsible for :
- Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
- Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
- Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
- Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received IV sedation. conscious sedation
- Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
- Provide patient education
