We have an immediate opening for a part-time/weekend Sonographer to work in our Washington, DC (K Street) office. The schedule is working every other Saturday and Sunday from 7am - 11 am. Pay Range: $35-45/hour plus a weekend differential.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Sonographer is responsible for:
- Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations
- Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records
- Establishes personal rapport with patients
- Provides explanations of procedures
What You'll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- 2 years experience in women’s health strongly preferred
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
- RDMS/RVT required
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
