- Regional Manager (RM) is the direct representative of US Framing and must conduct themselves in a professional manner.(clothing, mannerism, communication, language etc.)
- Oversee all wood framing projects in their region. Success of jobs is their responsibility.
- Proactively plans and controls the projects from start to finish (start job correctly)
- Managing the punch, quality,construction details, schedules of the projects. (Responsible for all aspects of construction)
- Helps in hiring subcontractors including managing contracts and scopes etc.
Some of the responsibilities are listed below:
- Constant communication with USF field staff, SRM &PM’s jobs in his area (manages Superintendent and Assistant)
- Must get the most out of Superintendents and Assistants (Good managers make good jobs)
- Must visit job sites on an agreed upon schedule and complete a job analysis report, submitted to PM, SRM and President. Fill out job site visit report form after every visit and sent to super, assistant, PM, SRM and President.
- Send emails or each job a minimum of 2 times a week and after each visit.Summary of job and communication is all good
- Must be able to answer any question, or concern having to do with Field Operations on their jobs. Know every aspect of the job, crew’s, production schedule, budget, scope punch, info, etc., etc.
- Make sure all information has been provided to the Startup manager beforej ob begins.
- Be active in all job starts60 days before jobs begin. Go over upcoming jobs with SRM and start-up manager, organize training and internal Precon.
- Assist set up and attend all Internal and GC pre-cons– coordinate with Super, SRM, PM and start-up manager.
- Review USF job specific scope of work and reviewwith Superintendent and/or Assistant. Discuss changes from the normal USF scope.
- Maintains and edits project schedules in coordination with PM, SRM, Superintendent and GC. (document)
- Provide info to the Superintendent and Assistant with USF list of office contacts and required suppliers per job.
- Assures that workforce and sub crews are adequate, and schedules are on track weekly. (check and confirm while onsite and through phone calls & via email etc.)
- Responsible for Supers and Assists performing quality control job walks and reports.
- Must perform routine Quality Control and punch verification on framing details that are being done. Collect and review information while job is under construction.
- Daily Review of Daily Reports& Notice of Needs sent by email. Make sure notice of needs are adding delays & make suggestions (notice of needs must have delays)
Punch: RM – Responsible for Punch
- Verify super has set up job walk on iPad and is being used for punch,daily reports and notice of needs.
- Check and review punch each visit (go over all punch documentation)
- Make sure changes are fixed at the front end with layout person.
- Set up and attend the first punch walk with the GC on the first building to make sure framing is correct.Make changes after meeting with layout and super. Followup email about changes incomplete items with GC.
- Confirm GC is walking and signing off on punch.
- Send official notice if GC is not following punch process.
Job Walk – Production Checklist starts at layout and is ongoing:
- Walk and mark deficiencies or work incorrect or not completed.
- Notify subcontractor ASAP of difference or production schedule.
- Incorporate items found to layout to avoid continuing mistake or missing items. Inform layout person of missing items or mistakes.
- Request new or missing items in plans, RFI, or Email
- No change orders or extra work by word of mouth all in writing and correct documentation, signed off by PM, SRM and Sub through the designated personnel etc.

Other:
Previous Project Management, Quality Management, & Construction Safety experience on a Wood Framing project is required
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction: minimum
- Bilingual-Spanish
- Prior experience in multi-family, wood-framing on large-scale projects
- Previous experience serving as liaison between General Contractor and Subcontractor
- Travel Requirements: 75% of the time
- Company Vehicle provided after first 90-days
- Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills
- CPR, AED, First Aid Certified (preferred)
- Documentation / Paperwork Training
- Prior experience as a Superintendent
- Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite
