US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Practice Scheduler to join our team at Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities:
- Answers phone calls in a timely and efficient manner using the AIDET customer service key words
- Transfers calls according to procedures
- Schedules appointments in a timely and efficient manner
- Schedules appointments as directed by referring providers
- Uses scheduling books routinely
- Pages providers for hospital consults/call backs according to procedures
- Confirming of appointments
- Enters authorization information on patient account in computer
- Performs related work as required
Requirements:
- 1 year reception or phone operator experience is required
- Medical reception is preferred but not required
- Cardiology experience is preferred but not required
