US Heart and Vascular (USHV) is a cardiovascular healthcare management services organization serving USHV’s affiliated cardiovascular physician practices across the United States. USHV is seeking to employ a Vice-President, Compliance and Ethics Officer to join our leadership team. This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to health care practices within the organization.
This role is critical in promoting USHV’s culture of ethical behavior and compliance across the company, safeguarding the organization’s integrity, and minimizing risk. The Vice President, Compliance and Ethics Officer will report to USHV’s CEO, have a reporting relationship to the Compliance Committee of USHV’s Board of Managers and will work closely and collaboratively in partnership with USHV’s Chief Legal Officer.

The Must Haves
- A minimum of a four-year degree with at least 10 years of verifiable progressive experience in healthcare compliance and at least 5 years in a leadership role within a physician practice organization or a similar health care setting.
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar compliance certification.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices, including CMS, OIG, Stark Law, AKS, HIPAA (privacy, security and breach rules), and state laws.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to navigate complex compliance issues.
