What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Specialist position at US Heart & Vascular?
Us Heart and Vascular is in need of an IT Specialist to join our team at Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Builds, troubleshoots, and maintains workstations, software, and other equipment.
- Direct end-user phone and desktop support.
- Travel to clinic sites to assist end-users and perform desktop support.
- Logs, documents, and manages I.T. trouble tickets.
- Assists end-users with all I.T. issues to final resolution.
- Maintains a high rate of customer satisfaction.
- Escalates and communicates highly critical issues as appropriate.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, technical, and analysis skills.
- Maintains high professional standards and participates as a team player.
- Takes physician after-hours support calls in rotation.
- Must be able to be at work on-site during regularly scheduled work hours.
Requirements:
- 1-5 years previous Helpdesk Support experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional presence/appearance.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid analytical ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
- Candidates with industry certifications preferred.
- Candidates with bachelor’s or associate degrees preferred.
- Must have a Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, which include, but are not limited to standing, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, transporting supplies or equipment, walking for extended periods of time, and occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
