Job Summary Partnership Employment has partnered with a growing well-known organization in Dallas and we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team on a contract basis. As an Accounting Clerk you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and strong data entry skills to ensure efficient operations. This role is contract for about 3-4 months. Duties Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Assist with general ledger reconciliation and ensure all entries are recorded accurately. Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Quicken for various accounting functions. Support credit analysis by reviewing financial statements and assessing creditworthiness. Collaborate with the public accounting team to prepare necessary documentation for audits. Maintain organized files and documentation for all financial transactions. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries as needed. Skills Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles. Experience with accounting software, particularly Sage and Quicken. Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation with attention to detail. Knowledge of credit analysis techniques is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members.
