Position : Lead Payroll Specialist Location : Near Lexington, KY Duration : Full Time / Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Monitors and coordinates deadlines for collection and reporting of payroll data and audit reports and analyzes PeopleSoft processes. Verifies completion of bi-weekly payroll and general ledger interface processes, and provides documentation required to authorize release of payroll and tax deposits. Coordinates with IT to maintain the payroll system and initiate improvements. Experience : Payroll Specialist : Five (5) years of related experience. Lead Payroll Specialist : Seven (7) years of related experience. Skills and Abilities : Strong knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting payroll functions. Strong knowledge of taxable benefits. General knowledge of accounting.
