This is an on-site full-time role with a Manufacturing and Distribution company in the Pearland area. Here is the environment.
LAN / Wan Configuration and Management.
SolarWinds
Wireshark
PowerShell
Cisco IOS
Ubiquity
Juniper Mist AI
A working knowledge of infrastructure standards governing cabling (Fiber optic and
copper) and site cabling infrastructure design.
Cloud experience (AWS and Azure a plus.)
A strong working knowledge of PAN OS and Palo Alto Networks.
A working knowledge of SD-WAN remote access technologies. Specific VeloCloud
experience a plus.
A working understanding of Citrix Application Delivery Controller (ADC / NetScaler) a
plus.
A bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or
related field is required.
Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification and / or CISSP.
Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
Additional certification preferred and will be a consideration to cover both the experience and
degree requirement. Applicable Certifications include, but not limited to :
o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
o Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
o Juniper Enterprise Routing and Switching Specialist (JNCIS-ENT) a plus
