Shop Help Position
US Metal Works Inc - Sandy, OR
8 hour shifts, 5 day work week, M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

U.S. Metal Works, Inc. is a manufacturing facility in Sandy, Oregon, offering design, fabrication and complete field installation services for industries including wood products, pulp and paper, chemical, food processing, recycling, material transportation, mining and many others.
Job Responsibilities
Checking in material and material handling.
Driving company vehicle for Delivery and Pickup.
Perform required tasks in a timely manner as instructed.
Use of fork lift to move material.
Break down boxes.
May be assigned other duties as needed.
Potential to gain other experience.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license is Required with clean driving record.
Must be 21 years or older for driving insurance purposes.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Forklift experience preferred but not required.
Over head cranes experience preferred but not required.
Physical Capacity Requirements:
Standing continuous 67- 100%
Lifting: 1-10lbs : Continuous 67-100%
Lifting 21-60lbs: Occasionally 6-33%
Maximum # carried by worker without assistance is 50lbs. If required, carrying over 50lbs is performed with two or more people or with lift devices.
Skills & Abilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
Problem solving -the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Safety and security-the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and material properly.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Including THC
