What are the responsibilities and job description for the BSA Specialist position at US Metro Bank?
POSITION OVERVIEW
The BSA Specialist helps ensure the bank complies with BSA/AML/OFAC laws and regulations, and FinCEN.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- BSA/AML alert clearing
- New Account Onboarding reviews
- CIP documentation review and follow-up with branches
- Adding BAM tags
- BSA/AML Tolerance activity clearing
- System Data Validation
- Assist the BSA Officer, BSA Operations Manager, and BSA Operation Officer in aspects of implementing the bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures.
- Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.). Must complete all required training.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess good computer, written and oral communication skills.
- Well-organized, analytical and capable of performing multiple tasks.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in BSA compliance or closely related functions
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields of business or financing or equivalent experience is preferred
- BSA/AML or branch operations experience highly preferred
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
