Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

U.S. Nameplate Co. is seeking a detail-oriented, self-starting, and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage our raw materials. The ideal candidate will have a background in inventory control and a strong background in ERP systems is preferred. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of receiving and storing incoming material, pulling and issuing materials to production lines and completing weekly Cycle counts.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm OR 7am-4:30pm Friday 6am-10am

Starting Wage: $22-$24 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

-Loading outbound orders/Unloading deliveries

-Receiving incoming deliveries into an ERP system

-Inspecting material quality and condition when received

-Putting away delivered materials

-Completing cycle counting and Inventory Events

-Issuing of materials and stocking production areas

-Helping with organization of material stocking areas

-Address and resolve issues or discrepancies in inventory

-Possibility of learning production operations to help at times

Qualifications:

-High school Diploma or Equivalent required

-Experience with ERP Systems or other workplace software

-Good communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

-Forklift experience

-Attention to detail and problem solving

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to lift and move packages up to 30-50lbs regularly, up to 75lbs with help

-Ability to stand, move, twist, bend and perform repetitive tasks at times
