Description
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all inbound deliveries are managed both from the point of scheduling through the entirety of the receiving process. An ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both verbally and via email.
Key Responsibilities
Receive shipments, confirms shipments are accurate, and maintain receiving logs.- Prepares and reviews for accuracy all bills of lading on shipments.
- Schedules inbound loads for the OKC distribution center.
- Work hand in hand with buyers to ensure accuracy on purchase orders versus physical receipt.
- Manage & Order pallet inventory.
- Correspond with vendors on pallet disposal program.
- Manages and processes receipt of customer returned product
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Skills and Abilities
- Forklift Operations (preferred)
- Proficient in Excel & Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- 1 year experience in a shipping department (required).
Computer Skills
- Basic understanding of computer software such as the Microsoft Office suite.

o Occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
