- Maintain sufficient inventory of postal products and sell them to customers.
- Use a computerized system to accept and deliver packages and accountable mail.
- Issue and cash foreign and domestic postal money orders.
- Accept and respond to customer claims and inquiries, and provide information to the public regarding postal regulations.
