Our client, a leading publisher of world language products, is seeking a dedicated and driven sales individual to join their team. This person would be covering an assigned territory and would have a high interest in language education, building relationships with new and current clients, and being part of a dynamic sales team. The successful person in this role is someone who loves networking, building relationships, winning new business, and delivering on client expectations. This person would also have excellent territory management, consultative-selling, presentation and active listening skills.
This role manages the Southeastern states ofArkansas,Louisiana,Mississippi,Oklahoma, andTennessee, selling K12 world language learning, ELL and ESL products to schools and districts throughout the state.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver impactful, engaging and customized digital andlive presentationsthat show how oursolutionscan help solve a school or district's challenges and help them achieve learning outcomes
- Exhibit a consultative selling approach in order to consistently closebusiness and achieve sales quotas
- Network and developa strong understanding of a customer's needswithin the assigned territory
- Establish and maintain strong partnershipswith key education professionals and stakeholders
- Partner effectively with internal teamsin an effort to provide customers with an excellent experience
- Utilizethe CRM and other tools to build a territory database for effective analysis,planning and account management
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of my clients products and programs
- Keep in tune with relevant and territory specific market trends and report findings to sales management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor'sdegree minimum required
- 1 years of successful sales or business development experience selling K12 publishing, education technology (ed-tech), language learning or similar products required
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
- Able to speakmultiple languages (ideally Spanish)
- Have a familiarity with using or selling language learning, ELL or ESL products
- Experience working as a Higher Education educator/teacher, administrator or similar
- Strong technology orientation and anaptitude to effectively sell/present to a variety of audiences in different ways(i.e.in-person, telephone,Go-To-Meeting, Skype, webinars,etc.)
- Excellent prospecting,territory building, negotiation and account management skills
- Excellent relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills
- A willingness to travel within the region (up to 60%)
