**Position Overview:**
As a Utility Scale Solar Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving sales of our utility-scale solar projects. This position offers full autonomy to self-start and develop your own sales strategies. Your resilience and ability to navigate challenges will be key to your success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for utility-scale solar projects.
- Identify and engage potential clients, including developers, government entities, and large-scale energy consumers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the solar industry.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Present compelling proposals and negotiate contracts, overcoming objections and hearing "no" with perseverance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to promote our services and expand your network.
- **Experience:**
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales role.
- Specific experience in solar energy sales, particularly within the utility-scale sector.
- **Knowledge:**
- Strong understanding of utility-scale solar technology, market trends, and regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with procurement processes related to large solar projects.
- **Skills:**
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
