US Solar’s Sunscription team acquires and manages thousands of residential, municipal and corporate customers who are seeking to reduce their electricity costs and greenhouse emissions. The Commercial Account Associate will play a crucial role by supporting US Solar’s relationships with our commercial subscribers. The position presents a unique opportunity to enter the clean energy field as no previous renewables experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial sales team in the acquisition and long-term management of commercial customers to improve customer satisfaction and contract compliance while reducing customer churn
- Administer the execution and recording of commercial contracts to ensure proper long-term management
- Manage commercial accounts in the Sunscription Platform by tracking pricing, key terms, and customer contact information
- Execute data-driven analyses of energy usage, payment trends, solar credits and savings for commercial subscribers to deliver reports that show the value of a Sunscription and enhance customer engagement
- Serve as expert on Sunscription products, customer electric-utility experiences, contract terms and compliance so as to provide high quality support to a wide range of potential customer needs
- Direct reoccurring customer communication such as quarterly reports and community solar garden status updates
- Respond to customer account changes including account cancelations, payment delinquency, and relocations
- Analyze commercial account allocations and audit paperwork prior to project COD and ensure compliance and maximize revenue potential
- Organize and generate subscription information and utility documents required for program financial closings
- Respond to elevated inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, chat, etc., in a prompt and professional manner
- Perform process improvement and administrative tasks to support the overall success of commercial customer subscriptions

Requirements
- Bachelor degree and 2-3 years of professional experience
- Collaborative spirit
- Experience with data analysis to optimize customer accounts and ensure efficient management of commercial subscription metrics
- Five years’ experience in a similar role or utilizing similar core proficiencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and ability to learn utility portal functionality
- Self-directed worker comfortable working individually and collaboratively with a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in the renewable energy industry
