Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse setting.
Duties
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory control as needed
Skills
- Experience operating various types of forklifts such as Hi-Lo, Clamp truck, Reach truck
- Proficiency in order picking and pallet jack operation
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- Ability to perform equipment repairs when necessary
- Familiarity with warehouse supervisory duties is a plus
