Accounting Assistant - Part time

Job Description:

• Relates to an organization's processes, procedures, controls and records for conduct and management of all aspects of financial transactions, events, and situations.
• Inclusive of accounting, budgetary controls, cash receipts and disbursements, payroll, credit and collections, financing, investments, risk management, tax and audit.
• Researches and compiles special reports.
• Typically provides accounting services to support ongoing activities.
• Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
• May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel.
  
  

Experience:

• 3-5 years' work experience in accounting and administrative management
• Understanding of budgeting, reporting, forecasting
• Project cost accounting
• AP AR
• Tracking of paid time off
• Business licenses
• Inventory system
• Related skills as necessary

Education:

• Minimum Associate's Degree in Bookkeeping & Administration, with relevant work experience
