Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Data & Analytics Project Manager to oversee and deliver high-impact data projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience with data analytics initiatives, and expertise in leveraging Azure DevOps for work management. This role will require excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to lead cross-functional teams and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution :
o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
o Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
o Manage and prioritize tasks using Azure DevOps to ensure on-time delivery.
o Utilize Azure DevOps to create and manage backlogs, user stories, and work items.
o Monitor project progress through boards, sprints, and reporting dashboards.
o Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
o Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
o Foster collaboration, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
o Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks effectively.
o Act as the primary point of contact for project updates, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
o Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and analytics insights to stakeholders.
o Gather and document requirements for data and analytics solutions.
o Ensure data projects adhere to quality standards and meet business requirements.
o Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of data analytics solutions.
o Promote the adoption of best practices in data management and analytics.
Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
o 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on data and analytics projects.
o Proven expertise in using Azure DevOps for project and work management.
o Familiarity with data platforms, tools, and technologies (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or similar).
o Understanding of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
o Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
o Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
